The nitrite(NO_(2)^(−))to ammonia(NH3)electroreduction reaction(NO_(2)^(−)RR)would be impeded by sluggish proton-coupled electron transfer kinetics and competitive hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).A key to improving the NH_(3) selectivity is to facilitate adsorption and activation of NO_(2)^(−),which is generally undesirable in unitary *** this work,an efficient NO_(2)^(−)RR catalyst is constructed by cooperating Pd with In2O3,in which NO_(2)^(−)could adsorb on interfacial dual-site through“Pd–N–O–In”linkage,leading to strengthened NO_(2)^(−)adsorption and easier N=O bond cleavage than that on unitary Pd or ***,the Pd/In_(2)O_(3)composite exhibits moderate H^(*)adsorption,which may facilitate protonation kinetics while inhibiting competitive *** a result,it exhibits a fairly high NH_(3)yield rate of 622.76 mmol h^(−1.g^(−1.cat with a Faradaic efficiency(FE)of 95.72%,good selectivity of 91.96%,and cycling stability towards the NO_(2)^(−)RR,surpassing unitary In_(2)O_(3)and Pd/C ***,computed results indicate that NH_(3)production on Pd/In_(2)O_(3)follows the deoxidation to hydrogenation *** work highlights the significance of H^(*)and NO_(2)^(−)adsorption modulation and N=O activation in NO_(2)^(−)RR electrochemistry by creating synergy between a mediocre catalyst with an appropriate cooperator.

Owing to its high theoretical capacity and low cost,Sn has attracted significant attention in sodium-ion ***,the slow kinetics of electrochemical reactions and the rapid decay of capacity resulting from drastic changes in the volume of Sn,as well as persistent side reactions between Sn and the organic electrolyte during the(de)sodium process,have limited its *** improve the electrochemical performance of Sn-based materials,the bottom-up method is normally used to prepare carbon-coated ***,its complex preparation processes and harsh conditions make it unsuitable for practical ***,a carbon-coated hybrid crystal composite(Sn/SnO_(x)@C)was prepared using an up-bottom method with commercial Sn/SnO *** effects accelerate the electrochemical kinetics and inhibit the coarsening of Sn *** Sn/SnO_(x)@C composite electrode exhibited capacity retention of 80.7%even after approximately 1.00 cycles(360.4 mAh·g^(−1.) at a current density of 1.A·g^(−1..The high-load Na_(3)V_(2)(PO4)3||Sn/SnO_(x)@C full cell presents a capacity retention rate of 91.7%after 1.0 cycles at the current density of 0.5 A·g^(−1..This work may significantly accelerate the commercialization of the Sn/SnO_(x)@C composite in sodium-ion batteries with high energy density.

Using the experimentally known aromatic icosahedral superatoms I_(h)B_(1.)H_(1.)2−and D_(5d)1.1.-C_(2)B_(1.)H_(1.)as building blocks and based on extensive density functional theory calculations,we predict herein a series of core–shell superpolyhedral boranes and carboranes in a bottom-up approach,including the high-symmetry Th B_(1.)@B_(1.2)H_(72)2−(2),C2h C_(2)B_(1.)@B_(1.2)H_(72)(3),D_(3d)B_(1.)@B_(1.4)H_(66)(4),I_(h)B_(1.)@C_(24)B_(1.)0H_(72)2−(6),and D_(5d)C_(2)B_(1.)@C_(24)B_(1.)0H_(72)(7).More interestingly,the superatom-assembled linear D2h B_(36)H_(32)^(2−)(8),close-packed planar D_(3d)B_(84)H_(60)^(2−)(1.),and nearly close-packed core−shell D_(3d)B_(1.)@B1.4H_(6)6(4)can be extended periodically to form the one-dimensional(1.)α-rhombohedral borane nanowire B_(1.)H_(1.)(Pmmm)(9),two-dimensional(2D)α-rhombohedral monolayer borophane B_(1.)H_(6)(P m1.(1.),and the experimentally known three-dimensional(3D)α-rhombohedral boron(R m)(1.)which can be viewed as an assembly of the monolayer B_(1.)H_(6)(1.)staggered in vertical direction,setting up a bottom-up strategy to form low-dimensional boron-based nanomaterials from their borane“seeds”via partial or complete *** bonding analyses indicate that the high stability of these nanostructures originates from the spherical aromaticity of their icosahedral B_(1.)or C_(2)B_(1.)structural units which possess the universal skeleton electronic configuration of 1.21.61.1.1.8 following the Wade’s n+1.*** infrared(IR)and Raman spectra of the most-concerned neutral B_(1.)@B1.4H_(6)6(4)and C_(2)B_(1.)@C_(24)B_(1.)0H_(72)(7)are computationally simulated to facilitate their experimental characterizations.

In this paper,we study a second-order accurate and linear numerical scheme for the nonlocal CahnHilliard *** scheme is established by combining a modified Crank-Nicolson approximation and the Adams-Bashforth extrapolation for the temporal discretization,and by applying the Fourier spectral collocation to the spatial *** addition,two stabilization terms in different forms are added for the sake of the numerical *** conduct a complete convergence analysis by using the higher-order consistency estimate for the numerical scheme,combined with the rough error estimate and the refined *** regarding the numerical solution as a small perturbation of the exact solution,we are able to justify the discrete?^(∞)bound of the numerical solution,as a result of the rough error ***,the refined error estimate is derived to obtain the optimal rate of convergence,following the established?∞bound of the numerical ***,the energy stability is also rigorously proved with respect to a modified *** proposed scheme can be viewed as the generalization of the second-order scheme presented in an earlier work,and the energy stability estimate has greatly improved the corresponding result therein.

To investigate the corrosion degradation law and service life of reinforced concrete in various salt solution environments,reinforced concrete specimens were semi-immersed in 3%Na_(2)CO_(3)(N3-0-0),3%Na_(2)CO_(3)+3%NaCl(N3-Cl3-0)and 3%Na_(2)CO_(3)+3%NaCl+3%Na_(2)SO_(4)(N3-Cl3-S3)salt *** electrochemical workstation was used for regular non-destructive testing,and the polarization curve and related electrochemical parameters were used as the macroscopic durability evaluation indicators,while microscopic analysis of steel bar corrosion products was performed in combination with SEM and *** addition,the corrosion current density degradation model of GM(1.1.was established and compared with the modified GM(1.1.-Markov degradation *** results showed that the prediction error of the GM(1.1.-Markov model was smaller and more accurate than that of GM(1.1..The reinforced concrete specimens in the N3-0-0,N3-Cl3-0 and N3-Cl3-S3 solutions reached the failure state in 3.08,1.67,and 2.30 years,respectively,as predicted by the GM(1.1.-Markov *** to ESM and EDS microscopic analysis of reinforcement,carbonate had no significant effect on reinforcement corrosion,chloride ions played a dominant role in reinforcement corrosion,and sulfate ion improved concrete's resistance to chloride ion *** on GM(1.1.-Markov model,the failure and damage of reinforced concrete in saline soil areas can be quantitatively evaluated in the whole life cycle,which provides a theoretical basis for the early maintenance or reinforcing of reinforced concrete.
