Amyloid beta(Aβ)monomers aggregate to form fibrils and amyloid plaques,which are critical mechanisms in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer’s disease(AD).Given the important role of Aβ1.42 aggregation in plaque formation,leading to brain lesions and cognitive impairment,numerous studies have aimed to reduce Aβaggregation and slow AD *** diphenylalanine(FF)sequence is critical for amyloid aggregation,and magnetic fields can affect peptide alignment due to the diamagnetic anisotropy of aromatic *** this study,we examined the effects of a moderate-intensity rotating magnetic field(RMF)on Aβaggregation and AD *** indicated that the RMF directly inhibited Aβamyloid fibril formation and reduced Aβ-induced cytotoxicity in neural cells in *** the AD mouse model APP/PS1.RMF restored motor abilities to healthy control levels and significantly alleviated cognitive impairments,including exploration and spatial and non-spatial memory *** examinations demonstrated that RMF reduced amyloid plaque accumulation,attenuated microglial activation,and reduced oxidative stress in the APP/PS1.mouse *** findings suggest that RMF holds considerable potential as a non-invasive,high-penetration physical approach for AD treatment.

Optimization of Gas Production from Hydrate-Bearing Sediments with Fluctuation Characteristics

As an important source of low-carbon,clean fossil energy,natural gas hydrate plays an important role in improving the global energy consumption *** the hydrate industry in the South China Sea is important to achieving‘carbon peak and carbon neutrality’goals as soon as ***-water areas subjected to the action of long-term stress and tectonic movement have developed complex and volatile terrains,and as such,the morphologies of hydrate-bearing sediments(HBSs)fluctuate *** key to numerically simulating HBS morphologies is the establishment of the conceptual model,which represents the objective and real description of the actual geological ***,current numerical simulation models have characterized HBSs into horizontal strata without considering the fluctuation *** representing the HBS as a horizontal element reduces simulation ***,the commonly used horizontal HBS model and a model considering the HBS’s fluctuation characteristics with the data of the SH2 site in the Shenhu Sea area were first constructed in this ***,their production behaviors were compared,and the huge impact of the fluctuation characteristics on HBS production was *** this basis,the key parameters affecting the depressurization production of the fluctuating HBSs were studied and *** research results show that the fluctuation characteristics have an obvious influence on the hydrate production of HBSs by affecting their temperatures and pressure distributions,as well as the transmission of the pressure drop and methane gas ***,the results show that the gas productivity of fluctuating HBSs was about 5%less than that of horizontal *** optimizing the depressurization amplitude,well length,and layout location of vertical wells,the productivity of fluctuating HBSs increased by about 56.6%.

Investigation on the vortical structures by the Liutex method in turbulent channels at Re_(τ)=1.0 with scalloped and triangular riblet control

Durian(Durio zibethinus)is a tropical fruit that has a unique flavor and *** occupies a significant phylogenetic position within the Malvaceae *** core-eudicot plants are reported to share seven ancestral karyotypes that have undergone reshuffling,resulting in an abundant genomic ***,the ancestral karyotypes of the Malvaceae family,as well as the evolution trajectory leading to the28 chromosomes in durian,remain poorly ***,we report the high-quality assembly of the durian genome with comprehensive comparative genomic *** analyzing the collinear blocks between cacao and durian,we inferred 1. Facile synthesis of high-brightness green-emitting carbon dots with narrow bandwidth towards backlight display

High-performance carbon dots(CDs)allowing the application in high-end display devices are highly desirable and usually limited by the absence of simple and easy synthesis *** this work,we exploited an easy-to-implement strategy for the one-step synthesis of green-emitting CDs(G-CDs)with superb optical *** G-CDs were synthesized using m-phenylenediamine(m-PD)as a single precursor,and the reaction reacted at 1.0℃for 1. h The resultant G-CDs exhibit high-purity and excitationindependent green fluorescence with the photoluminescence(PL)peak located at 51. nm,full width at half maximum(FWHM)of 46 nm,and PL quantum yield(QY)of∼80%under the 470nm excitation *** G-CDs and corresponding composite film prepared with polyvinyl butyral(G-CDs@PVB)exhibit good PL stability after undergoing long-time storage for one year and 360 h exposure under 460nm blue *** G-CDs@PVB film was used as color-conversion materials in green-emitting light-emitting diode(LED)application,exhibiting a Commission internationale de l’Eclairage(CIE)chromaticity coordinate of(0.21.0.44).The film was also used in CD-based liquid crystal display(CD-LCD)application,achieving a color gamut value of 85%.This work will offer a working basis for the synthesis of high-performance CDs as well as their application in displays.

High-Performanceα-Diimine Nickel Complexes for Facile Access of PE Elastomers with Exceptional Material Properties

For practicable elastomeric polyethylene,achieving high catalyst thermal stability and activity,along with precise control of polymer properties such as branching density,molecular weights,and distribution,is crucial but *** this study,two sets of symmetricalα-diimine nickel complexes,each comprising four nickel bromide or chloride complexes,were synthesized and investigated their performance for ethylene polymerization under various reaction *** activation with either Et2AlCl or MMAO cocatalysts,these complexes displayed not only high activity but also generated high molecular weight polyethylenes with controlled polydispersity and a substantial number of *** catalyst with the least steric hindrance displayed the remarkable high activity(up to 1.2×1.^(7) g·mol^(-1.·h^(-1.).Notably,nickel bromides demonstrated higher activity compared to their chloride *** investigation into the effect of reaction temperature on catalytic performance revealed that NiBrMe-MMAO system displayed high thermal stability(activity up to 2.51.1.^(6) g·mol^(-1.·h^(-1. at 1.0℃)and consistently yielded high polymer molecular weights with narrow polydispersity over a broad temperature range of 30-1.0℃.Of significant note,mechanical analysis of the resulting polyethylene demonstrated excellent ultimate tensile strength and high strain at ***,the polyethylene sample prepared at 1.0℃exhibited ultimate tensile strength up to 1. MPa with 1.63%maximum strain at break and a strain recovery of up to 54.9%after ten cycles at a fixed strain of 300%,indicating excellent material properties of prepared thermoplastic polyethylene elastomers(TPE).

Dissolution kinetics and reaction mechanism of Al_(2)O_(3) in molten CaF_(2)-CaO-Al_(2)O_(3) slag

The dissolution behavior of Al_(2)O_(3) in molten CaF_(2)-CaO-Al_(2)O_(3) slag,a basic slag system of electroslag remelting process,was investigated by rotating cylinder method using corundum rods to simulate Al_(2)O_(3) inclusions in *** experimental results show that the dissolution rate of Al_(2)O_(3);rods in CaF_(2)-CaO-Al_(2)O_(3) slag increases with the increase in rotating speed and temperature,and the rate-controlling step is the mass transfer in the *** dissolution rate of Al_(2)O,in CaF_(2)-CaO-Al_(2)O_(3) slag increases with the increase in the ratio of CaO to Al_(2)O_(3),which is due to the increase in dissolution driving force and the decrease in slag *** apparent activation energy of the mass transfer of AlOs in slag C is calculated to be 222.86 kJ mol^(-1..During the dissolution of Al_(2)0,inclusions in the slag,it reacts with F in liquid slag at first,then reacts with CaO to form the intermediate compounds of xCaO-yAl_(2)O_(3) system,and finally dissolves in molten *** dissolution rate of Al_(2)O_(3) inclusions in CaF_(2)-CaO-Al_(2)O_(3) slag for electroslag remelting is positively correlated with the ratio of the dissolution driving force and slag viscosity,and the correlation coeficient is 2.487×1.^(-1.).

The presence of particles and the shock waves generated by the cavitation bubbles can significantly affect the safety and the performance of hydrodynamic *** the present paper,the shock waves generated by cavitation bubble collapsing near the particle are numerically investigated based on the OpenFOAM together with the numerical schlieren for the shock wave *** numerical results reveal that the stand-off distance is one of the paramount factors affecting the interactions between the particle and the shock *** different kinds of shock waves(e.g.,bubble-inception,jet formation,particle reflected and jet-split shock waves)are observed during the bubble collapsing near the *** stand-off distance smaller than 0.5 or larger than 1.1.the maximum pressure at particle surface generated by the bubble growth can surpass those of the collapse stage.

A program logic for obstruction-freedom

Though obstruction-free progress property is weaker than other non-blocking properties including lock-freedom and wait-freedom, it has advantages that have led to the use of obstruction-free implementations for software transactional memory (STM) and in anonymous and fault-tolerant distributed computing. However, existing work can only verify obstruction-freedom of specific data structures (e.g., STM and list-based algorithms).In this paper, to fill this gap, we propose a program logic that can formally verify obstruction-freedom of practical implementations, as well as verify linearizability, a safety property, at the same time. We also propose informal principles to extend a logic for verifying linearizability to verifying obstruction-freedom. With this approach, the existing proof for linearizability can be reused directly to construct the proof for both linearizability and ***, we have successfully applied our logic to verifying a practical obstruction-free double-ended queue implementation in the first classic paper that has proposed the definition of obstruction-freedom.

Flavor mixing and solution structures in Dyson–Schwinger equations for a two-flavor system

We solved the Dyson–Schwinger(DS) equations for a two-flavor system with symmetry to study its flavor mixing effects. Initially, we employed the point interaction model and bare vertex approximation to reveal the structure of the solutions. Using the point interaction model, the DS equations can be solved analytically, and we found that these solutions can be classified into three groups, each forming an ellipse. These solutions exhibit SO(2) symmetry, while the original SU(2)symmetry at the Lagrangian level is dynamically broken to SO(2), corresponding to the emergence of flavor mixing effects. However, this flavor mixing effect does not manifest in the final physical *** utilizing the system's SO(2) symmetry, we can diagonalize the propagators of the DS equations,eliminating the flavor mixing effect but causing the originally degenerate masses at the Lagrangian level to split. These mass eigenstates have identical quantum numbers but different masses. If we can correspond these to quark particles of different generations, we can explain why the three generations of quarks have different masses and obtain the corresponding quark mass spectrum. Finally, we provide the corresponding numerical results using a more realistic interaction model.
