＜正＞*** Whether it is labor at sea or on land,the protection of the life,body,and health of workers is more important than anything *** number of Japanese mariners or seafarers working at sea in Japan is 74,618（2007）,a number that is extremely small compared to the total working population of approximately 63,000,000 workers（2007）.The ratio of accidents involving mariners（occupational accidents causing absences of more than four days）,however,is consistently higher when compared with occupational accidents on land（See Fig.1 and Fig.2）.

＜正＞Because of occurrence of multi-path propagation of GPS signals in various complex environments,GPS receivers are disturbed and then lose its positioning *** the multi-path signals are always considered as an error source of positioning by ***,we propose wave measurement system using GPS signal to take advantage of the phenomenon of multi-path propagation of GPS signals reflected from sea surface to gain the characteristics of ocean wave *** this paper,a prototype of arrayed GPS antenna is constructed and a GPS software receiver is *** has been confirmed that the arrayed GPS antenna is able to estimate wavelength by means of numeric simulations and the GPS software receiver can process the multi-path GPS signals to estimate its relative time *** potential ability to obtain correct information about ocean wave are analyzed and demonstrated.

＜正＞Because of the limitation of physiological characteristics of human eyes,it is necessary to develop vision enhancement system for maritime search and rescue（SAR-VES）,which is intended to improve the poor searching performance of human vision at sea.A system with its framework architecture,which integrates the imaging systems of visible light,infrared,radar and satellite remote sensing,is proposed in this paper to compensate the weakness of the human observation in the maritime search and rescue *** system will promote the sensitivity and the detection rate of targets,especially small ones,at *** will help improve the safety of life at sea and reduce economical losses in marine accidents.
