This paper will presents a mathematical model of finding a relations between dissimilar speeches signals which are speaker independent taken from common set of samples of Chhattisgarhi language and dialects commonly spoken at different regions of *** objective of this paper is to detect similar and dissimilar patterns of different Chhattisgarhi dialects through wavelet analysis methods which are useful for complex speech signal analysis.

This paper reviews some of the many published technical papers relating to the design of bandpass filters using Evanescent mode(waveguide below cut-off)technique.A small section of an evanescent mode closely represents lumped *** may be formed by introducing capacitive obstacles in the waveguide and this concept is being used in the design of tunable bandpass *** mode filters have drawn much attention to applications such as air-borne equipment and satellite systems due to the fact that they are light weight and smaller in size compared to conventional *** will follow the development of this methodology from the early investigations through the later applications and see how inductive strips in ridge waveguides would improve the performance of evanescent mode bandpass filters.

The purpose of a power transmission network is to transfer power from generation plants to load centers securely,efficiently,reliably and *** practical transmission network is ever expanding and thus,the transmission expansion planning(TEP)problem is identifying where to construct new transmission lines in future so that the growing load demand can be met by transfer of power from existing and upcoming generation in a given time *** this paper a methodology is proposed for choosing the best transmission expansion *** analysis is used to evaluate potential transmission connections and aid selection of those that best plan for overall system security.A ranking method is also demonstrated to prioritize transmission planning

This paper compares four different power system stabilizers(PSS).The purpose of power system stabilizers is to enhance the damping of low frequency oscillations in power *** conventional power system stabilizer(CPSS)utilizes the rotor speed while the optimal power system stabilizer(OPSS)utilizes the full states of the machine *** sub-optimal power system stabilizer(SOPSS)utilizes partial states of the machine *** fuzzy power system stabilizer(FPSS)uses fuzzy logic theory to provide the required control *** effectiveness of these four different power system stabilizers are compared through the simulation of a single machine connected to an infinite bus.

To deal with the disadvantage of noises and the problem that moving objects were replaced with background when the objects stay a long time in the scene,this paper introduced visual attention mechanism to improve the algorithm ***,space-time dynamic hybrid algorithm was adopted to deal with the moving images detected by Gaussian mixture model and the saliency map interested by visual attention ***,logical"and"operation was done between the significant moving objects of space-time dynamic hybrid mechanism and the saliency map region of visual attention mechanism to remove the isolate noises produced by Gaussian mixture *** simulations showed that the improved algorithm overcome the shortcoming effectively that moving objects were updated as background when the objects stay for a long time,and eliminated many isolate noises significantly.

As the development of mobile communication technique, portable radio communication equipment is used widely in military and commercial field. So, a lot of traditional applications such as multidimensional image signal processing are implanted on portable radio communication equipment platform. But how to balance the low-performance of portable radio communication equipment and the high demand for hardware of the traditional application becomes a hot field. Through analyzing the difficulties about combining multidimensional image signal processing and portable radio communication equipment, we put forward a displaying control technique of mobile geography information, which is based on measurement of use’s location, to reduce the cost for hardware. At the same time, we do serials of experiment on BREW platform to validate it in this paper.

Winner-take-all is a general building block commonly used in computational models of the brain,particularly for distributed cortex processing;e.g.,hierarchical models of vision,models of selective attention and *** was formally proven to be computationally powerful compared to other nonlinear operations,such as thresholding.K-winners-take-all is a generalization of winner-take-all with multiple *** their logical representability and biological plausibility,K-winners-take-all has been widely used in various applications,such as decoding,sorting,filtering,feature extraction,clustering,classification,machine vision,signal processing,image processing,associative memories,and mobile robot *** the last twenty years,many K-winners-take-all neural networks and circuits have been designed and analyzed with reduced complexity and improved *** this talk,I will start with the mathematical problem formulations of the K-winners-take-all solutions via neurodynamic optimization,then present several K-winners-take-all networks with reducing model complexity based on our neurodynamic optimization ***,we will focus on the one with the simplest model *** Mate Carlo simulation results will be shown to demonstrate the computing performance and parametric *** applications to parallel sorting,rank-order filtering,and web information retrieval will be discussed.

This paper investigates the directions of arrival (DOA) estimation problem of multiple speech sources by using two microphones, which has promising applications for auditory scene analysis (ASA) in intelligent service robots. In this paper, we study the DOA estimation based on the inter-channel phase difference (IPD) versus signal frequency framework (IPD-frequency plot). A novel DOA estimation approach has been developed in frequency domain by extracting the high local SNR frequency information aiming to improve the DOA estimation accuracy and the robustness to the noise. The high local SNR frequency information is extracted effectively by exploring the harmonic structure of speech sources in cepstrum domain. The time delay is estimated from the IPD-frequency plot using clustering methods. Experimental results show that the proposed multi-source cepstrum-based DOA estimation algorithm is robust to the additive Gaussian noise, has less complexity and higher DOA estimation accuracy (especially under low SNR condition) compared to those of sinusoidal modeling based DOA estimation method.

On the basis of introducing the model of Frequency-Domain Blind Deconvolution (FDBD),key techniques in mechanical signal extraction were comprehensively related and analyzed in this paper,which include the methods of suppressing the difference between circular and partial convolution by coordinating the relationship between FFT size and length of each frequency bin or Modified Discrete Fourier Transform,the methods of removing the permutation indeterminacy (methods based on consistency of filter coefficients,DOA methods,Split Spectrum methods,methods based on Nonlinear Function,etc.),the applications of Complex-Domain Blind Separation Algorithms which based on explicit tensor eigenvalue decomposition and nonlinear *** at vibration and acoustic signal feature extraction in complex environment and equipment with complex mechanical structures,the application values of FDBD and its research status in machinery condition monitoring and fault diagnosis were reviewed and ***,the main problems which need to be studied further in this area were pointed out.
