The angle of rice leaf inclination is an important agronomic trait.Currently,few mutants with altered leaf angles were reported,however,the molecular mechanism remains to be elucidated.We characterized a rice mutant leaf inclination 1,lc1 from Shanghai T-DNA Insertion Population(SHIP),and phenotypic analysis confirmed the enlarged leaf angels were due to the overexpression of the OsGH3.1 gene.OsGH3.1 encodes
