摘      要:Objective:The host immune response could be critical in the pathogenesis of Treponema pallidum(Tp) in latent syphilis *** aim of the present study was to examine changes of cellular homeostasis in T follicular regulatory T(Tfr) cells in secondary syphilis patients and latent syphilis ***:Thirty healthy controls(HCs),24 secondary syphilis patients and 41 latent syphilis patients were *** percentages of total Tfr,Tfrl,Tfr2,Tfr17,and the PD-1,ICOS and CTLA-4 on the Treg cells,CXCR5-Treg cells and Tfr cells in the peripheral blood were all determined by the flow ***:Comparing to the HCs and secondary syphilis patients, the percentage of total Tfr cells and the Tfr/Tfh ratio was significantly higher in latent syphilis patients, while the total Treg cells were not significant changed in the latent syphilis patients when compared to the secondary syphilis ***,no significant change was found on the Tfrl,Tfr2,Tfr17 among the HCs and secondary syphilitic infection patients or the latent syphilis patients, except the Tfr2 cells were increased in the latent syphilis ***,the ICOS and CTLA-4 percentages were all significantly increased on the Tfr cells in latent syphilis patients when compared to the secondary syphilis ***:Increased Tfr cells may play an important role in the immune evasion of Tp in latent syphilis patients.
