3d–4f complexes derived from the chiral amine-phenol ligand with slow magnetic relaxation, [Ni2LnL2(ClO4)3(H2O)4] and [Ni2Ln2L2(CO3)2(NO3)2]·(CH3OH)2(Ln= Tb, Dy)

摘 要:Since the weak magneto-chiral dichroism phenomenon of chiral paramagnetic compound was discovered,the chiral magnets have attracted great interests for their potential application as developing advanced data storage components,molecular spintronic devicesand quantum *** order to further investigate the magnetic properties of the chiral 3d-4f system,we synthesized four pairs of chiral Ni –Ln heterometallic complexes [NiLn((R, R)-L)(ClO4)(HO)](Ln= Dy(1), Tb(3)) and [NiLn((R, R)-L)(CO)(NO)]·(CHOH) (Ln=Dy (5),Tb(7),(HL=((R,R)-or (S,S)-cyclohexane-1,2-diylbis(azanediyl))-bis(methylene))-bis(2-methoxyphenol))).Complexes 1-4 are crystallized in an orthorhombic C222 space group,central Ln ions is surrounded by eight oxygen atoms which constitute biaugmented trigonal prism (C).Complexs 5-8 are crystallized in the triclinic P1 space *** alternating current (ac) magnetic susceptibilities of 1 showed that both the in-phase (χ′) and out-of-phase (χ″) are frequency-and temperature dependent with a series of frequency-dependent peaks for theχ″,which is the typical features of field-induced slow magnetic relaxation phenomena,with U=24.67 K andτ=1.67×10 *** 5 also exhibits singlemolecule magnet behavior when the field is applied at 2000 Oe,with U=15.05 K andτ=6.37×10 s.
