摘      要:In this paper,a simulation method based on the orthotropic material is proposed.A simple circulate plate is used as a numerical example to show the difference in the static performance and the vibration characteristic between the orthotropic and the isotropic *** that,a comprehensive performance comparison among the metal and plastic gear covers with the orthotropic and the isotropic materials is carried out,including a modal analysis,a forced response analysis under the real operating condition,and an acoustic analysis at the same working *** results show that the vibration responses and the radiated noise of the plastic gear cover are obviously lower than those of the metal *** low frequency peaks of the orthotropic gear cover are larger than those of the isotropic one and the high frequency peaks are *** important,the proposed method can provide a much more accurate frequency content comparing to the isotropic *** last,the multi-objective topology optimization design is conducted based on the orthotropic model and the overall sound power level of the optimized gear cover is 2.32 dB lower than that of the original one and about 13 dB lower than the metal one.
