摘 要:正Genetic studies in Arabidopsis have defined several genes that mediate response to the plant hormone indole-3-acetic acid (IAA or auxin). Expression of one of these genes, AXRl, is restricted to dividing and elongating cells consistent with a role in auxin-mediated growth. AXRl is related to the ubiquitin-activating enzyme (E1), the first step in the ubiquitin-protein conjugation pathway. However, we have demonstrated that AXRl functions together with a second protein called ECR1, to activate the ubiquitin-related protein RUB1.
