摘 要：正Genetic studies in Arabidopsis have defined several genes that mediate response to the plant hormone indole-3-acetic acid （IAA or auxin）. Expression of one of these genes, AXRl, is restricted to dividing and elongating cells consistent with a role in auxin-mediated growth. AXRl is related to the ubiquitin-activating enzyme （E1）, the first step in the ubiquitin-protein conjugation pathway. However, we have demonstrated that AXRl functions together with a second protein called ECR1, to activate the ubiquitin-related protein RUB1.
