摘      要:正Background: Alteration of commensal bacterial composition is associated with diarrhoea ***, few study to pin point the function of specific genes encoded by bacteria in regulating intestinal ***: By screening 3,983 E. coli mutants, we found that absence of bacterial lipocalin (blc) activated innate immunity in C. elegans. We further identified a SNP in several diarrhoeagenic E. coli strains that encode BlcE84, different from the BlcG84 in non-pathogenic bacteria.
