摘      要:Immune responsive gene 1(IRG-1) high expresses in inflammatory state such as stimulation by TLR ligands, bacterial infection and viral ***-1 converts cis-aconitate to itaconate in ***, an endogenous metabolite of tricarboxylic acid(TCA) cycle, is a well-known anti-inflammatory agent that also has antibacterial ***, the definite function of IRG-1 in viral infection is not adequately *** this study, we identified IRG-1 as a broad-spectrum enhancing factor of *** results showed that deficiency of IRG-1 broadly inhibited replication of enveloped viruses including VSV, HSV and Sev but not uncoated *** animal models, IRG-1-deficient mice were tolerant to VSV *** treatment in cultured cells enhanced growth of VSV by assisting viral ***, transcriptome suggested that IRG-1 deficiency caused some viral receptors expression and metabolic pathway ***, our study demonstrates a new mechanism by which viruses utilize itaconate to change the constituents of cytomembrane to assist them in entering host cells and IRG-1 can be targeted by antiviral drugs.
