摘 要:Graphene quantum dots(GQDs) are widely used in the biological *** have demonstrated great potential for labeling cells, tracking particles and being used as biosensors because of their chemical stability, electronic properties, and *** research on the potential toxicity of GQDs is greatly required because of their inherent chemical composition and nanoscale *** this study,a wall-less green algae,Dunaliella viridis, was used as a model organism to evaluate the bio-safety of sulfonated *** GQDs were investigated in Dunaliella viridis at exposure concentrations ranging from 250-2000 mg/L for 96 *** cell division rate, chlorophyll biosynthesis, malondialdehyde(MDA) content and the activity of superoxide dismutase(SOD) were *** concentrations(250 mg/L,500 mg/L) of sulfonated GQDs could promote the growth of the algae while high concentrations(1500 mg/L,2000 mg/L) of sulfonated GQDs significantly inhibited the growth of Dunaliella *** total chlorophyll content in individual algal cell also showed the same *** chlorophyll content increased after exposure to sulfonated GQDs at concentrations of 250,500,and 750 mg/L and decreased relatively at higher ***’s more, each of the chlorophyll content was higher than that in the untreated *** the increase of the concentration of sulfonated GQDs,the content of MDA in the algae cells also *** the same time, the activity of SOD in cells was also induced to *** results indicated that the toxic effect of sulfonated GQDs on the growth of Dunaliella viridis may be due to oxidative stress caused by nanomaterials.
