摘      要:The lanthanide-based SMMs are attracting the growing attentions due to the intrinsic strong spin-orbital coupling and magnetic anisotropy of lanthanide(Ⅲ) ions[1].Their promising high anisotropic energy barrier(U) for the magnetization reversal and the blocking temperature(T)play a key role in their potential application in the high-density information storage[2].Based on these considerations,we designed the reaction of 2-hydroxy-3-carboxy-5-chlorobenzaldehyde oxime(H hccbdo) with gadolinium nitrate and copper acetate and obtained a novel dodecanuclear 3 d-4 f complex[Cu Gd(Hhccbdo)(hccbdo)(DMF)(H O)].The coplanar four Gd ions are ligated with carboxyl groups of ligands and form a 16-MC-4 cyclic structure with[Gd-O-C-O]repeating *** 16-MC-4 rings assembled into a rare cage-like *** copper ions are located the outside of the cage(Fig.1).Magnetic susceptibility reveals the ferromagnetic coupling between the metal ions of complex(Fig.2 a),and further AC magnetic data indicates the slow magnetic relaxation,a typical of single-molecule magnets behavior(Fig.2 b).
