Co-MOFs derived cobalt oxide and nitrogen-doped porous carbon materialsas efficient oxygen reduction electrocatalyst

摘 要:Recently, MOFs have been utilized as novel self-sacrificed templates under the condition of thermal decomposition to prepare transition metal-based nitrogen-doped porous carbons with high electrocatalytic activities. In this work,cobalt-based MOF used as a selftemplate,metalcobaltencapsulated cobalt oxide and nitrogen-doped porous carbon material(recorded as Co@CoO@Co O/NC) was performed by two-step thermal treatment in an inert atmosphere and air, respectively. The calcination temperature is a key factor thatdirectly affects the catalytic activity. Co@CoO@Co O/NC material exhibits an excellent electrocatalytic performance for ORR, and longer-term stability and higher methanol tolerance than the commercial Pt/C catalyst.
