摘 要:Generally, plants exposed to persistent irritations from microbial pathogens, insect pest, parasitic plants and unfavorable environmental factors(biotic and abiotic stress) tend to generate and accumulate a host of phytochemicals(secondary metabolites) in different tissues as reactive chemicals to ward-off or kill invading pathogens and *** secondary metabolites also serve as a signaling cue for initiating hormonal signaling processes necessary for mitigating their successful adaptation and subsequent survival under harsh environmental *** metabolomics studies identified metabolomics divergence between japonica and indica rice *** insights gained from population genetic studies as well as rice blast disease epidemiology studies showed that japonica and indica rice species exhibit different levels of resistance and susceptibility against cosmopolitan and the most economically destructive rice blast pathogen ***,the impact of metabolomics differentiations on differential resistance of different rice cultivars from japonica and indica species against *** is still not well *** this study,we used UPLC-TOFF mediated non-targeted whole metabolome profiling techniques to investigate metabolomics divergence prevailing between whole leaf tissues and leaf trichome of four homogeneously susceptible and five differentially resistant rice cultivars from both japonica and indica *** also monitored differential *** mediated metabolomics reprogramming and reconstitution events occurring in respective rice cultivars during host-pathogen *** study identified set of metabolites that functions as phytochemicals in susceptible and resistant rice species under infection, among the disease resistance related phytochemicals identified exclusively resistant rice seedlings inoculated with the blast fungus includes, sakuranin(sakuranetin) and other reactive *** leaf trichome metabolome an
