TNF-α-1031 T/C polymorphisms is associated with cognitive dysfunction in chronic schizophrenia

摘 要:Objective:To explore the association of TNF-α-1031 T/C polymorphism and age of onset and cognitive ***:We recruit486 inpatients with schizophrenia and 310 age-,sex-and education matched healthy *** functions were measured by RBANS and symptoms were assessed by *** TNF-α-1031 T/C polymorphisms were measured by ***:There were no significant differences in allelic frequency and genotype frequency of TNF-α-1031 T/C polymorphism between patients and normal controls,but a significant association with age of onset(F=7.321,P=0.007) and significant associations with immediate memory,visuospatial,total score of RBANS(F=9.140,P=0.003;F=6.742,P=0.010;F=8.331,P=0.004).The age of onset was related to attention,immediate memory,delayed memory and total score of RBANS(r=0.179,P=0.002;r=0.102,P=0.041;r=0.154,P=0.008;r=0.134,P=0.021).It is significant for the mediation analysis for the relationship across TNF-α-1031 T/C polymorphism,age of onset and cognitive ***:Our results suggested that TNF-α-1031 T/C plays a role in cognitive impairments,age of onset and their association in chronic patients with schizophrenia.
