摘 要:Background/Study Context To study the life quality of the inpatients suffering from elderly degenerative lumbar disease and its impacting factors. Methods A cross-sectional survey was conducted. All of the 125 patients were assessed by World Health Organization Quality of Life Instruments(WHOQOL-BREF).Convenience sampling method was employed. The data was analyzed by STATA-10.0 using t-test.Results The t-test showed that participants with lesser pain had a higher life quality in physiology, psychology, and social fields than those with stronger pain. The t-test showed that the life quality of the inpatients could be impacted significantly by appetite and self-evaluation of health as well.Inpatients with poor self-evaluation demonstrated a significantly low life quality in physiology, psychology, and environment fields(p0.05),While inpatients with adequate appetite showed a significantly higher life quality in all of the four fields(p0.05).Conclusions Pain, appetite, and self-evaluation of the health are leading factors impacting life quality of the senile patients suffering from degenerative lumbar diseases.
