摘      要:A common challenge of WAN antenna design in handheld device is to reduce peak gain to meet FCC requirement like EIRP(equivalent isotropic radiated power) without affecting antenna *** this paper we proposed a new idea of designing an IFA shape counterpoise(CP) located close to the main antenna where the current density is high at cellar 1800 *** and measurement results showed that CP has almost no effects to the antenna efficiency but drops gain over1 dB.
