Phylogenetic Analysis of Ribosomal 18S Gene of Taenia multiceps on Dogs in Hunan Province

摘 要:Objectives To examine sequence variation in the ribosomal 18 S gene among taenia multiceps isolates from Hunan Province. Methods The 18 S gene was amplified from individual taenia multiceps isolate, and the 18 S sequences obtained were aligned using the ClustalX 1.81. Results The results showed that the lengths of 18 S sequences were 1 080 bp. The constructed phylogenetic tree revealed that the Hunan isolates and the Taenia multiceps available in Gen Bank were clustered in the same clade. Conclusion It is concluded that 18 S gene can be used as a genetic marker for population genetic studies of cestodes. The present study provided foundation for molecular epidemiology and diagnosis of taenia multiceps.
