Isolation and Function Analysis of NtLTP4 from Tobacco

摘 要:Nonspecific lipid transfer proteins play an important rolein the plant biological and abiotic stress *** the present study,NtLTP4 gene was isolated from common tobacco(*** ***89).Sequence analysis revealed that the full-length cDNA consisted of 354 nucleotides,which encoded a protein of 116 amino acid ***4 protein was localized in the cell *** RT-PCR analysis revealed that NtLTP4 transcript accumulation was up-regulated by high-salinity,drought stress,wounding,abscisic acid(ABA),Jasmine acid(JA),salicylic acid(SA),***,and Potato virus *** evaluate the functions of NtLTP4 in the regulation of stress responses,we produced transgenic tobacco lines over-expressing *** drought and salt stress treatments,the transgenic tobacco plants had a higher germination rate,lower malondialdehyde content,lowerlevels of reactive oxygen species(ROS) accumulation,and less growth inhibition than *** antioxidant enzyme activities were higher in the transgenic plants than in WT,which may be related to the up-regulated expression of some antioxidant genes via overexpression of *** results demonstrate the high toleranceof the transgenic plants to drought and salt stresses compared with the *** addition,The NtLTP4-overexpressing plants enhanced the resistance to the infection of *** and PVY-O.
