摘 要：正In this article optical models in lightwave links,which include a LD（laser diode） source, a single-mode fiber and a p-i-n photodiode receiver model,are simulated and investigated using SPW（signal processing worksystem） on HP workstation. Simulation methods are presented concerning about the optical source waveforms,fiber attenuation and dispersion,and receiver *** end-to-end performance of typical transmission system is also presented. SPW software and its’ usage on HP workstation are introduced.
