摘 要:This paper describes 2 types of experiments on traditional residential buildings in Japan. One is thatched roof smoking method and another is actual conditions of working space which renovated ancient Japanese Sake Cellar. This traditional house has thatched roof and dirt floors which constructed 200 years ago. Thatched roof smoking method is very unique traditional Japanese protect way from its insects and worms. This long time custom is effective against repairing houses. This time we have conducted field experiments to find out smoked elements. No one carried out like this IAQ measurements in situ extraction. We cleared out elements of smoked air and send out a warning against smoking systems. Another reports is actual conditions of renovated office which reconstructed Japanese Sake Seller in old city KAMAKURA .In summer time owing to the thick clay wall and the traditional wide openings, we found out the comfortable life style without using air-conditioner. But in winter we have to take measures especially thermal conditions and lighting environments. At the same time we visualized the effectiveness of thermal conditions and air flow using simulation method.
