摘      要:Hollow nanostructures are promising as electrode materials for lithium-ion batteries(LIBs). We have employed hydrothermal/solvothermal methods to synthesize hollow nanostructures of different materials, and investigated their lithium storage properties. In this talk, I will briefly discuss hollow nanostructures of metal oxides. We have been able to synthesize different hollow nanostructures of many binary metal oxides such as SnO2, Fe2O3 and Fe3O4, and more recently mixed metal oxides. I will also talk about integration of oxide and different carbon materials to further improve their lithium storage properties.
