摘 要:The global rice reduction due to drought averages 18 Mt,especially,23 Mha of rice fields in Asia are ***,little progress has been made in the genetic analysis of drought tolerance,because it is a complex trait controlled by a number ofgenes and affected by various environmental *** here,we have optimized leaf water loss rate assay with plastic ware for large screening and we examined leaf water loss rate of 815 rice *** range of leaf water loss rate was between about 15%to 35%.Among these varieties,we selected and validated the visual drought phenotype of 14 varieties in greenhouse
