摘 要:正It is well documented that fluoride when given to osteoporotic subjects has the ability to increase spinal bone *** effect appears to be mainly due to an increased amount of trabecular bone,Histomorphometric data indicate that fluoride increases trabecular volume via an increase in both the number of osteoblasts and the formation period of the bone remodeling *** positive effect does not appear to be fully translated into a commensurate increment in bone ***,fluoride treatment may also decrease the osteoblastic activity that determines the amount of bony substance layed down per cell and unit ***,the concept of an increase of bone formation at the tissue level but not at the cellular *** differential effect could be dependent upon the bone fluoride content.
