摘 要:正An adaptive data structure for efficient coding of the encoded video signals is *** new video coding algorithm restructures the fixed data structure of conventional hybrid predictive/transform image coding algorithm such that more efficient data representation of the information is achieved.A novel Conditional Quadtree Data Structure is proposed which renders an significant gain in compression ratio that is on average 25%better than a fixed block size algorithm and the PSNR is only a fraction of a decibel lower than a fixed block size *** new algorithm has been tested on two distinctively different sequence of images.
