摘 要:正New theropod discoveries from the Liaoning Province of China have been important in reconstructing not only the origin of flight and the theropod-avialan transition, but also in clarifying other aspects of coelurosaur systematics and evolution. Many of the new taxa are basal members of their respective clades that are especially vital in reconstructing coelurosaur phylogeny due to the large amount of homoplasy throughout Coelurosauria. Here we describe the effects that five new taxa-Sinovenator changii, Microraptor zhaoianus, Shenzhousaurus orientalis , Incisivosaurus gauthieri, and Huaxiag-nathus orientalis-have had on our understanding of coelurosaur evolution.
