摘      要:Internet is a complex network with the characteristic of self-organization criticality,and the evolvement of network will inevitably lead to a critical state,which makes the probability of system happening cascading failures increase *** paper introduces the characteristics of dynamics and topology of Internet,analyzes the reasons of cascading fail-ures occurred in details,discusses the potential causes of the characteristic of self-organization and then puts forward a simple fault propagation model called ICFM(Internet Cascading Failures Model) .Simulation results show that the Internet does have the characteristic of self-organization criticality and the model can contribute a lot to the detection and control of cascading failures of Internet.
