摘      要:正【Objective】Endoscopic submucosal dissection(ESD)is a new widely accepted method for the treatment of early gastric cancer, which was developed in order to increase the en bloc rate. The objective of our study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of ESD for small rectal carcinoid tu- mors.【Methods】From January 2006 to March 2007,patients diagnosed as small rectal carcinoid tu- mors with endoscopic ultrasonography(ESD)were treated using ESD with *** lesion was directly resected with needle-knife after solutions were injected into the submucosal layer be- neath the *** rate of curative en bloc resection, the procedure time, and the incidence of com- plications were investigated.【Results】15 patients with 15 small rectal carcinoid tumors were treated by *** mean diameter of lesions was 8.3 mm(range 3-10).The rate of en bloc resection was 100%(15/15),the rate of complete resection was 100%(15/15).The mean time required for ESD procedure was 45 min(range 15-125).None of patients had massive hemorrhage during ESD and had delayed bleeding after *** occurred in 1 case and the patient recovered after several days’ conservative *** perforation rate was 6.67%(1/15).All 15 cases were followed up with confirmed healing of the artificial ulcer with no lesion residue or recurrence.【Conclusions】ESD is a feasible method for the treatment of small rectal carcinoid tumor, and has a big advantage with regard to achieving en bloc *** treatment modality also demonstrates an acceptable rate of complications that can be adequately managed endoscopically.
