摘      要:正The surface morphology of Strix uralensis feathers was studied using pickup stereo microscope and electronic scanning *** reveal that the macroscopic and microscopic structures of Strix uralensis feathers are different from those of diurnal birds,such as messenger pigeons.A Strix uralensis feather is featured by fully developed knot-like barbules and many half-baked *** addition to the common theory that the sound deadening effect of strigiform bird feather during fly is attributed to the serration structure of primary remiges,we believe that the fluffiness of strigiform feathers,the highly developed knot-like barbules,and the presence of plentiful undeveloped webs also contribute to the sound deadening effect.
