摘 要：正Soil-water potential describes the entire soil system in terms of the equilibrium of soil with water from a saturated state （pF0） to a desaturated state and until the oven-dried condition （pF 7） is *** the adsorption and desorption processes,the soil integrity,stability,volume and soil fabric arrangement are changing *** aim of this study is to investigate the soil-water potential characteristics of sensitive clays by applying suction test,and to find out the relationships between soil suction and soil *** of soil volume of a sample by using suction testing in the laboratory provides the following properties and behaviour of soils:soil-water potential characteristics;air-entry properties;volume change behaviour;and inter-fabric unit stability *** relationships among the above mentioned properties provide a relative measurement of the stability of the mierofabric units.
