摘      要：BACKGROUND We have previously developed a predictive rule for extubation outcome based on simple clinical variables,which could predict successful extubation with an accuracy of 96.7%and AUC of *** determine the generalizability and clinical utility of the rule,we validate the accuracy of this previously derived clinical prediction rule in a new population with consecutive patients admitted to our medical ICU who had already passed SBTs.
