A ratiometric and colorimetric luminescent thermometer based on hybrid material consisting of laponite and lanthanide β-diketonate complexes

摘 要:In this work, we have developed a facile method of preparing luminescent hybrid materials based on laponite, 1, 2HFA and Ln3+ions both in the form of powder and thin film. The highly luminescent complexes exhibited strong red and green emission. When co-doped of Eu3+ and Tb3+, the obtained hybrid material exhibits temperature-dependent luminescence. This ratiometric and colorimetric luminescent thermo sensor can be applied over a temperature range of 197 K to 287 K with high sensitivity, stability and reversibility. The resulting luminescent hybrid material has also been used as building blocks for fabricating transparent suppleness thin films by gel polymerization technique, which also show linear temperature dependence behavior even in a wider temperature range. Since the successful preparation of thin films is an important prerequisite for device fabrication. In future, the chameleon hybrid thin film are expected to be promising candidate for temperature sensor and thermo probe, which will be an appealing alternative for in situ and real time detection of temperature in many special areas, such as an aerospaceplane in wind tunnel experiments.
