摘      要:正Efforts by researchers to combine fractal geometry with electromagnetic theory have led to a plethora of new and innovative antenna *** unique properties of fractals have been exploited in order to develop a new class of antenna-element designs that are multi-band and compact in *** this paper,a fifth iteration Hilbert fractal antenna for partial discharge(PD) detection,which is compact enough to be used inside or outside gas insulated substations(GIS), is designed by Ansoft HFSS,on the principal of fractal antenna *** work band of fractal antenna is 300-3000MHz,and the voltage standing wave ratio(VSWR) is almost under 5 in its work *** discharges in GIS are simulated through three typical PD defects models,and four types of PD are measured with the fractal antenna developed *** proves to be effective to detect different types of ultra high frequency(UHF) PD *** of discharge signals are *** the distinctions,pattern of PD in GIS can be *** results show that the Hilbert fractal antenna has good performance to detect the PD signal for online monitoring in GIS.
