Selective special concentration and allelopathic effects of plant hormone Indole-3-acetic on growth promotion of marine photosynthetic bacteria

摘 要：We studied the effects of Indole-3-acetic(plant growth hormone)on the growth of photosynthetic bacteria(PSB).Indole-3-acetic promoted the growth of PSB at an optimal concentration of 1.0 mg/L.In the presence of Indole-3-acetic,a deferred logarithmic growth phase appeared.At the optimal concentration 1.0 mg/L in 0-5days,the slopes of the treated samples were 0.1121,0.1042,0.1208 and 0.0926 AU/day respectively,while the slope of the control sample was 0.1023 AU/day.The OD660nm results representing growth promotion of PSB were statistically analyzed with SPSS:the treated samples were specially compared with control sample at the concentration 1.0 mg/L,and obviously the treated sample were higher than the control sample(P0.05).In the deferred logarithmic growth phase(5-13 days),especially at the optimal concentration 0.1 mg/L(571.4 nmol/1), the slopes of the treated samples were 0.5928,0.3629,0.4851 and 0.4937 AU/day respectively,while the slope of the control sample was 0.4947AU/day.The OD660nm results of promoting the growth of PSB were also statistically analyzed with SPSS:the treated sample were specially compare with control sample at the optimal concentration 0.1 mg/L,and obviously the treated sample were still higher than the control sample(P0.01).Therefore,there was a significant growth promotion effect,a vivid phenomenon of allelopathic effect.The most significant growth promotion concentration is a selective special concentration,and the effect is named the selective special concentration allelopathic effect.This is first report on the allelopathic effects of Indole-3-acetic on growth promotion of PSB.
