摘 要:正 Creating low gloss or matt effects in traditional solvent- and water-borne coatings presents no great technical problems using specially designed matting agents. In contrast, creating a matt effect in a 100% solids system, such as a UV coating, where the important film shrinkage factor is absent, provides the formulator with considerable *** spite of this, good matting has been shown to be achievable using specially developed matting agents. However, success in achieving the desirable appearance in a reproducible quality is as much dependent on the formulation components, the application parameters and even the substrate, as on the choice of matting *** paper presents selected parameters and their impact on the gloss of matt UV lacquers.
