摘      要:Here we report a facet-selective nucleation and growth of SnO hierarchical nanostructures for the first *** primary rutile Sn02 trunks with tetragonal structure all present quasi-hexagonal features,which iS a very unusual phenomenon that doesn’t Occur in typical crystal growth,and it iS found that the amount of oxygen in reaction system can alSO regulate the growth rate of Sn02 along different directions to control the shape of SnO *** precisely controlling the nucleation only on{001}surfaces,so-called facet-selective nucleation,our results suggest that the oxygen vacancies, higher surface energy of{001}surfaces and preferential growth play an important role in selective-nucleation and directional *** with the lattice
