Preparation and Characterization of TiO2/ZSM-5 Nano-composite Photocatalyst

摘      要:TiO2/NaZSM-5 nano-composite photocatalyst was prepared with nano-NaZSM-5 zeolite matrix bycontrolled impregnation. Results showed that the TiO2/NaZSM-5 nano-composite had much higherphotoactivity than reference nano-TiO2 and the mechanical mixture of the reference TiO2 with thenano-NaZSM-5 matrix in the degradation of methyl orange. By using various characterization techniquesincluding XRD, XRF, HRTEM, N2 physisorption and DRUV-vis, it was concluded that the outstandingphotoactivity of the TiO2/NaZSM-5 nano-composite should be attributed to the unique adsorption property ofthe nano-NaZSM-5 matrix and the enhanced absorbance of the supported TiO2 in ultraviolet region.
