Studies of performance of activated carbon loaded with nickel hydroxide and its application for asymmetrical supercapacitor

摘 要:In order to enhance specific capacitance of carbon-based supercapacitor,some particles of nickel hydroxide were loaded into activated carbon(AC)by a simple chemical *** properties were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD)and N2 adsorption *** showed that β-Nickel hydroxide/Activated carbon composite were *** BET surface area of the composite decreased compared to that of the pure activated carbon. Electrochemical performances of the samples were studied by cyclic voltammetry,galvanostatic charge/discharge and electrochemical impedance *** indicated that the composites had good electrocheimical behaviors and high *** composite and activated carbon were used to prepared asymmetrical *** specific capacitance of asymmetrical supercapacitor was up to 338.7 F g-1 in 6 M KOH electrolyte,which increased 35.1% comparing with AC-AC supercapacitor(250.6 F g-1).In addition,the asymmetrical supercapacitor showed high reversibility,and low resistance.
