摘 要:This talk will present our recent developments using nanophotonic concepts to manipulate the excitation dynamics,and nanochemistry to make hierarchically built nanostructures as well as tailor their interface to produce new generation nanophosphors with highly efficient frequency conversion of infrared(IR) *** IR light can be selectively converted into near IR(NIR) light,visible,as well as(UV) light at a high efficiency through selection of lanthanide dopants and host lattice,as well as through engineering local environment around the lanthanide *** and nanochemistry open up numerous opportunities for these frequency converters,such as in high contrast bioimaging,photodynamic therapy,remote photoactivation,displays,anti-counterfeiting,as well as in solar cells.
