摘 要：Structural studies on the condensed tannins(proanthocyanidins) have been mainly conducted by D.G Roux, D.Ferreira,and their co-workers in South Africa,and also by E.Haslam‘s group in England.On the other hand, studies by O.Th.Schmidt,W.Mayer,and their co-workers revealed structures of some types of hydrolyzable tannins and their constituting acyl groups.In spite of their extensive works,tannins in many medicinal plants
