摘      要:Recently, much attention is given to the foam-filled thin-walled structures. The studies showed that the interaction between foam fillers and the supporting structures produce excellent crushing behaviors and energy absorption characters. However, up to now little work has been done to quantitatively determine this effect, i.e. the contribution of each component of the compound structure to the total energy absorption.
