Members of miR-169 family are induced by high salinity and transient inhibit NF-YA transcriptional factors

摘      要:MicroRNAs(miRNAs)are endogenously expressed small RNAs with length of~22nt. MicroRNAs silence its target genes at post-transcriptional *** plants,microRNAs play various developmental and physiological roles by cleavaging mRNAs *** and high salinity are the most severe environment abiotic stresses and cause the crop loss all over the *** this study,we identified miR-169g,miP,-169n(o)as high salinity responsive microRNAs in ***-169n and miR169o were in a microRNA cluster with a distance of *** high degree of conservation and close phylogenic distance of the pre-miR-169n and pre-miR-169o indicated that they derived from a tandem duplication evolutional event which occurred very *** existence of an ABRE cis-acting element at the upstream region of miR-169n(o) suggested that miR-169n(o)may be regulated by *** our previous study,we found that the osmotic stress resulted by drought induced miR-169g through DRE ***,we revealed that the osmotic and ionic toxicity stress resulted by high salinity induced miR-169g and miR-169n(o)through both DRE and ABRE *** data showed that the both overlap and distinct responses of miR-169 family to drought and salt *** also showed that these miR-169 members selectively cleaved some of NF-YA genes which are CCAAT-box binding transcription factors and participate in transcriptional regulation of large number ***, we found one or more ath-miR-169 member also induced by high *** indicated that the salt-induction of some miR-169 members was a general property in plants.
