Modeling the sea clutter data through wavelet multi-resolution analysis

摘      要：The wavelet transform was proposed to statistically analysis sea clutter data in this paper. When modeling the real sea clutter data, the wavelet multi-resolution analysis was used to estimate the sea clutter’s probability density curve firstly, then the distribution and its parameters were acquired by fitting the estimated PDF curve The method changed the formerly modeling method which assumed the sea clutter distribution type beforehand, and overcome the inaccurate shortcoming that estimating distribution parameters directly using the sea clutter data because of the noise. Through adjusting the threshold of MRA, our method can be used to analysis sea clutter in all kinds of sea conditions.
