摘      要:To enhance the surface plasmon polariton (SPP) along the elongated nanorod, the nanocuboid is used at the excitation end of the nanorod. The numerical simulations are performed by the finite difference time domain method. The results show that when the nanocuboid is used, stronger SPP waves are excited and then propagate along the nanorod. In addition, the enhancement of SPP depends strongly on the structural parameters of the nanocuboid. These results would be greatly relevant to developing new SPP device or other nanophotonic circuit components in the future.
