Thermal Error Analysis and Modeling for Error Compensation on Gear Hobbing Machine

摘 要:Based on the synthetic analysis of thermal error source on gear hobbing machine, a new ICA (Independent component analysis) method is proposed in order to optimize the location of temperature sensor in this paper. A least squares modeling approach is also proposed to fulfill the thermal error modeling of gear hobbing machine. Finally, the hardware system of thermal error compensation is presented, and it is tested on Y3150 K hobbing machine. The experimental results shows that the gear machining accuracy can be improved about 2 grades through thermal error compensation, and the system is very effective.
