摘 要:正We report on the progress of the SRF activity at Peking University. It consists of DC-SC photoinjector and SASE PEL project at Peking University. DC-SC photoinjector is a compact electron gun integrating a DC Pierce gun with a 1.3GHz superconducting cavity [1]. The photoinjector is designed to provide an electron beam of average current 1 mA with the energy of 2.61MeV and normalized rms transverse emittance of 3mm-mrad. The test facility has been completely installed in our lab. Photocathode preparation chamber can produce Cs2Te and Cs3Sb cathodes, and the laser system can provide lsser pulses with 532nm or 266nm wave length at an 81.25MHz repetition rate. ER SASE PEL at Peking University is to demonstrate high brightness electron beam and set up SASE PEL platform to study some novel aspects in physics. In this paper some of the ongoing experimental activities and the proposal of SASE PEL are summarized.
