摘 要:Noncentrosymmetric(NCS) compounds are of current interest due to their multi-functional properties such as ferroelectricity,piezoelectricity,dielectric behavior,and second-order nonlinear optical(NLO) *** particular,their excellent nonlinear optical properties exhibit promising applications in the fields of frequency shifting,optical modulating telecommunications and signal ***,a class of new NCS materials have been synthesized with d0 transition metal cations(Mo6+ or W6+) and lone-pair cations(Se4+ or Te4+).Both kinds of ions are susceptible to the second-order Jahn-Teller effect which is believed to cause the unique properties of the materials *** BaTeMo2O9(β-BaTeMo2O9) 2 is such a typical *** group reported on the top-seeded solution growth of centimeter-sized single crystals and its functional properties.3,4 It has been demonstrated that β-BaTeMo2O9 possesses an effective NLO coefficient of 10.3 pm/V,being three times larger than that of KTP.4 Recently,centimeter-sized single crystals of Cs2TeMo3O12,5Na2TeW2O9,6 and Na2Te3Mo3O167 were successfully grown by our group,Halasyamani group,and Shen group,*** improve thermal conductivity of β-BaTeMo 2 O 9,we substitute Ba with *** systematically exploring the MgO-TeO 2-MoO3 ternary phase diagram,we identified *** measurements revealed that MgTeMoO6 exhibits strong SHG(~1.5 KTP),and is type-I phase-matchable.8
