摘 要:正 Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SANS) has been recognised as a new human infectious disease. Anovel coronavirus was identified as the causative agent of SARS. Hematological findings in patients withSARS were common and included lymphopenia (69.6% in adults, N=138;100% in children, N=10),thrombocytopenia (44.8% in adults. 50% in children) and leukopenia (33.9% in adults, 70% in children) (Leeet al. N Engl J Med. 2003;Hon et al. Lancet. 2003). The role and mechanism of this coronavirus onhematopoiesis are poorly understood. We hypothesized that SARS coronavirus (SARS-CoV) may (i) directlyinfect blood cells via CD13 or CD66a. thus inducing cell apoptosis and growth inhibition;and/or(ii) induceauto-antibodies and immune complexes to damage these cells. In addition, the lung damage in SARS patients
