摘 要:正Recently,sand/gravel materials,instead of crushed rock materials,are also utilized as a main rockfill material to overcome geological and environmental *** this paper,an experimental scheme for centrifuge modeling of concrete faced gravel-fill dam was developed and two centrifuge tests were performed in order to investigate the effect of drainage zoning on seepage *** dam considered in this study was designed to have Zone 3Bs of high permeability in main gravel-fill zone to enhance safety against accidental water infiltration into the *** centrifuge tests with and without Zone 3Bs were performed in order to investigate the effect of Zone 3Bs on seepage flow. Model dams were made of soils sieved to have equivalent permeability,because the grain size of original soil material is too big to construct model *** infiltration was simulated by rising water table over pre-implemented cracks on the *** behaviors of model dams were monitored by pore water pressure transducers and cameras during the *** tests showed that the drainage zone of CFGD drains off the infiltrated water out of the dam in a short *** modeling performed on the testing models also supported the effectiveness of the drainage zone.
